What actually happened.

01 WILLIAM SPURLOCK The proof the service works, run on the studio's own domain: a daily publishing cadence and entity architecture built so the pages get quoted inside ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity — traffic that arrives already convinced, bought with writing rather than media spend. williamspurlock.com 02 $UICIDEBOY$ An audience this size lives on platforms the act does not own, so the site is the one surface G*59 controls end to end — Grey Day, the catalogue and the label's story in one place that routes fans to tour and merch instead of back to an algorithm. suicideboys.netlify.app 03 THE WRECKS A band funding itself on tickets and merch has no label budget to make up the difference, so tour and store carry the same weight as the music — and the whole thing still reads like the band built it. thewrecks.netlify.app 04 ARIZONA ZERVAS Built to hold a viral audience rather than catch it once — the release sits above the fold, and videos, tour and contact are real destinations instead of footer links people never reach. arizona-zervas.netlify.app 05 KYLE Smyle Coffee sits as a peer to the catalogue, not a footer link, because the brand is the product line as much as the music — a fan can arrive for a song and leave with a bag of coffee. superduperkyle.netlify.app 06 SUECO An independent label keeps its margin only while listeners stay on a surface it owns, so the player survives navigation — fans browse tour and merch without ever stopping the music. suecotic.netlify.app 07 FULLER Artwork that swings between dark post-punk and bright alt-pop, on a site that carries both — a theme switch in the nav instead of a redesign every release cycle. jpfuller.netlify.app 08 OLIVER MALCOLM An artist read as much as a filmmaker as a musician, so the site opens like a title sequence and gives cinema and archive the same standing as the catalogue. oliver-malcolm.netlify.app 09 BLACK PONTIAC A regional band pitching bookers and press needs the site to make the pitch for it, so the album, the shows and the press material are all reachable in a single pass. blackpontiac.netlify.app 10 RED LEATHER Short-form video and streaming built the audience, but neither hands over the next click — so the site is the one surface Red Leather owns, catching fans on their way out of those platforms and routing them into the catalogue and the tour. redleather.netlify.app 11 NEON TREES A decade of radio recognition is worth little while it stays parked on platforms the band does not own, so the site converts back-catalogue familiarity into the current record, the tour and the shop. neontrees.netlify.app 12 FRIDAY PILOTS CLUB A touring act loses money in the gap between a release and the door, so the ticket path is the spine of the build — dates, sold-out waitlists and presale capture in one place instead of scattered across socials. fridaypilotsclub.netlify.app 13 AX AND THE HATCHETMEN When the live show is the actual product, the site has to sell the room — so the record, the dates and the store carry equal weight instead of making fans open three tabs to follow a band they already like. axandthehatchetmen.netlify.app 14 PEOPLE R UGLY Fans find People R Ugly on platforms the band does not own, so the site is the one surface that holds them — the album, the videos and the dates in a single place that routes to streams and tickets instead of back into a feed. peoplerugly.netlify.app 15 WINYAH A developing band needs two doors, not one — fans routed to dates and streams, and bookers, press and sync people routed to the right inbox instead of a direct message that never gets read. winyahband.netlify.app 16 ARKAYLA A debut gets one window to convert curiosity into something the band actually keeps, so tour, the release and an email list the act owns sit together rather than leaking fans back into a link-in-bio hop. arkayla.netlify.app 17 DOG PARK A release cycle only pays if fans leave streaming with a listen, a ticket and a place on the merch list, so the site is the one surface Dog Park owns end to end rather than another hop through someone else's feed. dogparkband.netlify.app 18 FOXTIDE Without a stop the band owns, every streaming click and tour post hands fans straight back to a platform — so listen, tickets and merch were pulled onto one route where album curiosity can actually convert. foxtide.netlify.app 19 PERTI A catalogue this deep still lives mostly on streaming, so the site pulls the chapters, the album push, the dates and the store onto a surface the act controls and routes fans to listen, tickets and merch. perti.netlify.app 20 MY KID BROTHER A band with a record already in the wild still needs a home it owns — catalogue, tour and merch together, so fans leaving streaming and Instagram land somewhere that keeps them instead of bouncing back to the feed. mykidbrother.netlify.app 21 ROE KAPARA A singles-driven cadence breaks any site that hard-codes the current release, so the discography is data — a new drop takes the fold without a redesign, and fans route to streams, videos, merch and show alerts. roe-kapara.netlify.app 22 MATT COFFEY DESIGN Architects and high-end homeowners will not commission forged work from a shop they cannot evaluate online, so the site puts finished commissions, process and materials in front of the people writing the specs and routes them into a conversation. mattcoffeydesign.com 23 ALLCITY HVAC Contractors lose the job to whoever answers first, so the build is organised around speed to quote — every system its own landing page, local schema so the map pack can place the business, and a form that routes by postcode instead of pooling in one inbox. allcityhvac-creativewill.netlify.app 24 DIVINE TOKE THC brands are locked out of paid acquisition entirely, so this one is built to get found without it — answer-engine schema and a twice-weekly editorial engine on the front, cannabis-priced payment rails and adult-signature delivery on the back. divinetoke.org

Why it matters

The website's job changed

AI-led search is rewriting how buyers find you. Google and the answer engines increasingly lead with an AI summary instead of ten blue links — and when that happens, your site has to be readable, citable, and built to convert the traffic that still shows up.

This is the biggest shift since the internet for how a site has to work: not just look good for humans, but speak clearly to machines that recommend one name. That does not mean classic search disappears overnight. It means a site that only chases old SERP tricks is already behind the question being asked.

Custom design

Designed for your brand, not a theme with your logo swapped in.

Motion

GSAP where it earns attention — fold presence, not decoration noise.

Performance targets

Lighthouse Performance targets by tier (~70 / ~85 / ~95 on key templates) — targets, not invented client scores.

Full ownership

You own the code, the domain path, and the accounts. No hostage CMS.

Hosting & training

Handoff, hosting path, and training so your team can ship updates without me.

Add Visibility

Readable is not the same as recommended.

Every Website build ships the AI-readable foundation — schema, sitemap, llms.txt, and clean entity signal. What the build cannot do by itself is watch what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI actually say about you month over month, or keep producing the answer-shaped content and entity work that earns the citation. That is Visibility Growth, monthly from $3,500, under Visibility. Citations typically start moving 30 to 60 days after the entity and schema work ships.

  • A dashboard showing where AI mentions you, updated at least every two weeks
  • Tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI
  • New answer-shaped pages or posts every month
  • The $500 AI Visibility Audit credits toward a build or the first month of a plan
  • Summer 2026: attach Visibility Growth within 30 days of launch on any build tier (3-month minimum) and the first of those months is included — ends September 30, 2026

Add AI Visibility

The build makes you readable. Visibility decides whether the models name you.

One decision-maker

Someone who can approve direction without a committee. Website builds stall on approval chains, not on code.

Raw facts & assets

What you sell, who buys it, logos, photography, and brand files. I shape copy from your materials — I do not invent your claims.

Approvals

FAQ

Straight answers.

Cost & fit

How much does a custom website cost at Spurlock Studios?

One-time builds run $3,500 to $23,000 depending on scope. Creator Site is $3,500 in 1–2 weeks. Business Site is $8,000 in 3–4 weeks. Product Platform / SaaS is $23,000 in 6–10 weeks for one agreed production-ready V1. Most people who want to see direction first start with the $1,500 Website Direction Sprint, and that fee comes off a build started within 90 days.

What is the $1,500 Website Direction Sprint, and what do I get?

One week of positioning, sitemap, art direction, and one polished homepage concept — delivered in five business days. You see the site before you buy the build. You keep every sprint deliverable either way, and the $1,500 comes off any Website build started within 90 days. It is the cheapest way to stop guessing about taste and scope before you write a bigger check.

Does the Website Direction Sprint fee count toward a full build?

Yes — the full $1,500, if you start a Website build within 90 days. Outside that window the credit expires, but you still keep the sprint deliverables. There is no version where paying for the sprint leaves you with nothing you can use.

Which website tier should I buy — Creator, Business, or Product Platform?

Creator Site ($3,500) fits artists, creators, and solo brands who need a custom fold fast. Business Site ($8,000) fits companies that need broader pages, deeper motion, conversion architecture, and native CRM/booking/form integrations. Product Platform ($23,000) is for a scoped V1 with auth, database, billing, or product logic — not a brochure with a login button glued on. If you are between Creator and Business, start the sprint and price the build off what we actually decide.

How much does Website Studio cost per month?

Maintain is $3,000 a month for upkeep, content, reporting, and on-site health. Grow is $7,500 a month for landing pages, experiments, campaigns, and conversion reporting. Lead is $15,000 a month as an embedded on-site growth partner for continuous launches. Commit to three months and take 25 percent off. Go annual and stack that same 25 percent with two months free.

Can I get a discount if I commit to Website Studio longer than a month?

Yes. Monthly is full price, cancel anytime. A three-month minimum takes 25 percent off. Annual takes that same 25 percent off and adds two months free — Maintain lands at $1,875 a month billed annually, Grow at $4,688, Lead at $9,375. Longer terms always cost less per month once you know you are staying.

What is the Website Studio + Visibility Growth bundle discount?

Fifteen percent off the combined monthly when you run Website Studio and Visibility Growth together. Middle-tier math: Grow at $7,500 plus Visibility Growth Tier 2 at $8,500 equals $16,000, then 15 percent off brings it to $13,600 monthly before term discounts. That discount stacks with quarterly/annual terms and with the referral bonus. Website Studio owns on-site execution; Visibility Growth owns discovery intelligence.

Is there a referral bonus on Website Studio plans?

Yes. Refer someone who signs a three-month minimum and you get two more months free on your own plan. It works on Maintain, Grow, and Lead, and it stacks with annual. Same stacking language as Agentic retainers — you send business my way, I send months back yours.

Where do website builds live now — Websites or Visibility?

Builds are a Websites product only — Creator $3,500, Business $8,000, Product Platform $23,000. Visibility is monthly only: the $500 AI Visibility Audit as the front door, then Visibility Growth plans from $3,500 / $8,500 / $15,000 per month. No two ladders, no guessing which number applies.

When should I buy Visibility instead of a Website build?

Rarely instead — usually after or alongside. The build makes you readable; Visibility decides whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI name you. You can also buy Visibility alone if the site is already fine and the gap is discovery, not design. Native form/CRM hooks stay under Websites; cross-system agents and automations stay under Agentic and Automation.

Does the $500 AI Visibility Audit come off a website build?

Yes — in full, against a Website build or the first month of a Visibility plan. No expiry. You keep the fix list either way, so paying for the audit never leaves you empty-handed.

Does a website build include the first month of AI Visibility?

Not as a standing tier feature — no. Through the Summer 2026 attach offer it does: attach Visibility Growth within 30 days of launch on a 3-month minimum or longer, on any build tier, and you commit to three months but pay for two. The offer ends September 30, 2026. After that the first month bills normally. This is a limited offer, not a permanent part of any tier. You can still start with the $500 audit if you want a read before you commit monthly.

Build process

How long does it take to build a website with Spurlock Studios?

Creator Site lands in 1–2 weeks. Business Site in 3–4 weeks. Product Platform / SaaS in 6–10 weeks for one agreed V1. The optional Website Direction Sprint is five business days before any of that. Timelines assume one decision-maker and fast feedback — stalled approvals stretch the calendar, not the invoice by surprise.

What do you need from me before a website build starts?

One decision-maker, raw facts and assets, approvals if a label or partner has to bless the fold, access to domain/hosting/tools the site must talk to, and feedback measured in days. I shape copy from your materials. I do not invent metrics or claims you cannot stand behind.

Who designs and builds the site — you or a team?

Me. William Spurlock. Solo operator. No junior handoff and no offshore queue quietly shipping your fold while you think you hired me. Capacity stays limited on purpose so the person on the call is the person in the repo.

How does payment work for Creator, Business, and Product builds?

Creator and Business are 50/50 — half to start, half at launch. Product Platform runs on milestones tied to the agreed V1 scope, because auth, database, and billing surfaces need clear checkpoints. Sprint fees follow the 90-day credit rule above.

Will you write the copy for my website?

I shape copy from your raw materials — interviews, existing pages, brand notes, product facts. I do not invent testimonials, performance numbers, or claims you cannot defend. If you have almost nothing written, we either use the sprint to lock positioning first or you bring a writer; I will not fabricate a voice that is not yours.

Can my website connect to my CRM, booking tool, or form stack?

Yes — that is native integration work under Websites, especially on Business and Product. If the tool has an API or a clean embed path, we wire it. Cross-system agents, multi-app automations, and long-running agent loops are not smuggled into a website invoice — those belong under Agentic or Automation so scope and pricing stay honest.

Do I get a CMS, and which one do you use?

Fit-based. Markdown in the repo if you are technical and ship rarely. A headless CMS if your team needs a browser editor. No CMS if a static site with occasional deploys is enough. I pick the publishing path for how you actually update content, not for a monthly seat tax.

What does the Product Platform / SaaS tier include, and what does it not?

One agreed production-ready V1 — auth, database, billing, or product logic as that V1 needs. Price is $23,000 over 6–10 weeks with a scope guardrail written down before build starts. It does not mean unlimited features, an open roadmap, or every idea your team invents mid-build. New surface area is a new conversation, not a free add-on.

Can I see progress during the build, or only at the end?

You see it in the open. Staging links, not a big-reveal meeting after six silent weeks. That is also why fast feedback matters — when you can click the real pages, approvals get sharper and the timeline holds.

What happens after launch — do I need Website Studio?

No. Launch includes ownership, hosting handoff, and training. Studio is optional: Maintain for upkeep and health, Grow for landing pages and experiments, Lead when you want an embedded on-site growth partner. Plenty of clients stop at the build. Studio is for the ones who keep shipping on the site after day one.

Performance, Visibility & ownership

What Lighthouse Performance score should I expect from each website tier?

Targets on key templates: about 70 for Creator, about 85 for Business, about 95 for Product Platform. Those are design targets I build toward, not invented scores from past clients. Real numbers depend on third-party scripts, media weight, and how heavy your integrations are — I will tell you when a tool you insist on will cost points.

Does a Spurlock Studios website include SEO and AI visibility setup?

Yes, tiered. Creator ships the foundation — schema, sitemap, llms.txt, and clean entity basics. Business adds answer-shaped pages and a self-serve blog or news section. Product Platform adds entity match across directories, profiles, and listings. Ongoing citation tracking still lives under Visibility — Websites makes the site readable; Visibility watches whether the models name you. Through Summer 2026, attach Visibility Growth within 30 days of launch on a 3-month minimum and the first of those months is included.

What makes a page answer-shaped, and which tier ships them?

An answer-shaped page is built around the exact question a buyer types into ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Google AI — clear entity, direct answer, and enough proof that a model can cite it. Business Site and Product Platform ship them in the build. Creator ships the foundation so machines can read you; the answer-page set starts at Business. Monthly new answer-shaped pages or posts after launch are a Visibility Growth deliverable.

What is the difference between Website Studio and Visibility Growth?

Website Studio is marketing-led on-site work: upkeep, landing pages, experiments, campaigns, CRO, creative, and on-site analytics. Visibility Growth is discovery intelligence: dashboards, citation share, and the content/systems that get you named in AI answers. Different jobs. Bundle them at 15 percent off combined monthly if you need both.

Who owns the website code and accounts after you build it?

You do. Full ownership — code, content path, and the accounts the site runs on. No hostage CMS and no platform tax to keep your own pages online. You could hand the repo to another developer tomorrow and it would still build.

Will my site work for AI search and answer engines, or only for Google?

Both are in scope for the foundation. Schema, clean entity signal, sitemap, and llms.txt help classic SEO and AI-led search. Google may lead with an AI answer instead of ten blue links more often than it used to — that is the shift — but I do not claim SERPs disappear overnight. The site has to convert humans and stay legible to machines.

Do you host the site, or do I?

Handoff is part of every build. Common path is Netlify or Cloudflare on accounts you control, with training so your team can deploy. I can stay on hosting hygiene under Studio Maintain. I do not lock your domain inside a black-box account you cannot leave.

How is website work different from Agentic or Automation work?

Websites ships the site and native integrations — forms, CRM embeds, booking, on-page tracking. Automation is fixed-script multi-system workflows. Agentic is judgment-heavy agents that decide their own steps. If your lead needs a cross-system agent loop, that is not a line item I hide inside a website tier — we route it to the right service so you pay for the right job.

Can I take the site somewhere else later if I stop working with you?

Yes. Ownership means portability. Astro/React code in a repo you control, CMS content you can export, and hosting on your accounts. Ending Studio does not turn the site off or put a watermark on your homepage.

Do you guarantee a specific Lighthouse score or ranking?

I design to the tier performance targets and ship the visibility foundation. I do not guarantee a final Lighthouse number after you add heavy tags, nor do I promise a Google rank or an AI citation count — those depend on competitors, content cadence, and model behavior outside the build. What I do guarantee is clear scope, ownership, and targets we both can see on paper before I write code.

How do I hire Spurlock Studios to build a website?

Start on the contact page with intent for a sprint or a build tier. From there it is me — William Spurlock — not a sales floor handing you to a project manager. If you want evidence before a full build, start the $1,500 Website Direction Sprint, see a polished homepage concept in five business days, then decide with something you can click instead of a deck.
